<description>&#60;p&#62;Due to security concerns and the overwhelming amount of spam the original forums were getting, they have been taken down and replaced with the fancy new version.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;You will notice that the new forum is much more integrated with the rest of the site.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;However, for security purposes the logins for the blog and forum are separate. In other words, to make blog posts and to make forum posts you must create distinct logins.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;You may still read blog and forum posts without a login.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;If you have any questions or concerns, contact me (admin) for help.

<title>admin on "How to Add a Signature"</title>

<description>&#60;p&#62;Did you know you can add a signature to your posts, just like you can with email?&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;If you did, then you've probably already done it.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;If not, well congratulations because now you know, and knowing is half the battle.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;The other half is actually making one, and it's super-easy.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Just edit your profile to include a signature. You started creating a profile when you signed up for the board, but you can always go back and edit it at any time by clicking on your name in the very upper-left-hand corner of the screen, or as it appears below your image beside your posts.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Once you do, you'll be taken to the public view of your profile. Up in the uppper-right-hand part of the screen, there is a tab marked &#34;Edit.&#34; That's the one you want.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Right there in big bold letters is a box called &#34;Signature.&#34; Just put in whatever you want. But be careful: there is a 100-character, three-line limit, so keep it brief.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Easy as pie. As always, if you have questions, just post them here.

<title>admin on "How to Post"</title>
<link>http://www.communitycarefund.org/forum/topic.php?id=6#post-6</link>

<description>&#60;p&#62;Okay, here's the concise guide on how to post.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;If this doesn't explain it clearly, just reply with your questions.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;&#60;strong&#62;Find Your Topic&#60;/strong&#62;&#60;br /&#62;
When you log in to the forum, you will see the Latest Discussions in the top section and the Forums underneath that. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Latest Discussions pulls the most recent active discussions/posts and displays them at the top. It's just a handy way to get a quick look at what's been going on.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Either way, click on the forum topic of you choice and you'll see all the current discussions.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;&#60;strong&#62;Making a Post&#60;/strong&#62;&#60;br /&#62;
There are two ways to post: create a new topic, or reply in an existing thread.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;To reply in an existing thread, as you're reading a thread, simply scroll down to the bottom and like magic you'll see the Reply field. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Enter your reply, adding any formatting you want using the buttons above the text entry field, click &#34;Send Post,&#34; and you're on your way.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;To start a new thread, navigate to the forum where you want to create your new topic. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;You will see the list of current topics, and below that the New Topic In This Forum area. Enter the subject/title in the Post Title area, enter your message in the big text box, click &#34;Send Post,&#34; and your new topic will be created.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;&#60;strong&#62;About Those Buttons&#60;/strong&#62;&#60;br /&#62;
There are buttons in the gray area just above the text area where you will enter your post.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;These are formatting buttons where you do things like make text bold or italic, add links, insert images and so on.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;To make text bold or italic, or add a link, highlight the text you want to change and click the appropriate button. Voila! &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;You can also create ordered and unordered lists with the OL and UL buttons.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;&#60;strong&#62;Adding Images&#60;/strong&#62;&#60;br /&#62;
As far as images, you can't upload an image to our server. However you can link to an image elsewhere on the web. To do so, click the &#34;Image&#34; button and enter the URL where your image is located.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;This is common practice on message boards, so don't think we're picking on you or we're just trying to make your life more difficult. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;It's just a more secure method of posting images, and it saves a ton of space on the server, thus making these pages load that much faster. And we all like that, don't we?&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;&#60;strong&#62;In Summary&#60;/strong&#62;&#60;br /&#62;
That about covers it. As always, if you're having trouble, just post your question and we'll be happy to give you a hand.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Happy posting!

<description>&#60;p&#62;If you want an avatar (the cute little picture associated with your profile and posts), you may use &#60;a href=&#34;http://www.gravatar.com&#34;&#62;Gravatar&#60;/a&#62;.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Gravatar is short for &#60;a href=&#34;http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gravatar&#34;&#62;Globally Recognized Avatar&#60;/a&#62;. It allows you to store your avatar online rather than uploading images to this site. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Basically, it helps things run faster. It has the added benefit of being accessible to many sites including all Wordpress blogs and other message forums.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Just go to &#60;a href=&#34;http://www.gravatar.com&#34;&#62;gravatar.com&#60;/a&#62; and follow the simple instructions. You will receive an email confirmation, and you're in business.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Be sure you use the same email address you used when you signed up for this forum!

<description>&#60;p&#62;We reserve the right to remove any post or user from our message boards — although we have no duty to do so. When posts are deleted, it’s usually because they violate one or more of the following rules.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Repeated violation of these rules may result in the suspension of your posting privileges.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;This is a public forum. We do have moderators, but assume that anything posted here could be seen by anyone, anywhere, and conduct yourself accordingly.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Forum Rules&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Under no circumstances should you post confidential health information about you or another person. If you have specific medical questions, consult a physician.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;We live by words online, so we don’t allow obscene, racist or sexually explicit language. Personal attacks are not permitted. We reserve the right to remove posts that are abusive, hateful, or defame or insult anyone. We also reserve the right to remove posts that are off-topic or not in English.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Discrimination on any grounds and for any reason is prohibited. You may not promote, depict, or link to material that promotes or depicts discrimination based on race, gender, religion, national origin, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, or age.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;It is illegal to harass or threaten anyone. We take threats, harassment and stalking very seriously. Posts that might be construed as such may be deleted and made available to the proper law enforcement officials.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;No solicitations or advertisements are allowed. This includes advertisements for your business, your own online endeavors or the latest get-rich-quick scheme.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;You may link to other informational Web sites when relevant to the discussion, but links to commercial sites are generally not allowed.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;You may not suggest or encourage illegal activity. Community of Care will assist law enforcement officials in any investigation of such activities.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Choose a username carefully. You may not use names that are offensive, that suggest illegal activities or that are meant to imitate other users. Any such names will be blocked from posting on our message boards.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;You must have copyright ownership of all material that you post on our message boards. No articles, recipes, song lyrics, art or graphics may be posted without the express written consent of the copyright holder. If you’d like to refer to a news article, please post no more than a few lines summarizing the article and include a link to it.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;You must respect the privacy of individuals. This means no posting of phone numbers, addresses, social security numbers or any other private information. We discourage users from posting such information even about themselves, as we cannot control how that information may be used beyond our message boards.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Good manners online means that you don’t post the same note more than once. The online word for posting many times on one topic is “spamming.” We don’t allow it.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;You participate at your own risk on the bulletin boards. You take responsibility for postings under your username and use the information provided here at your own risk. Community of Care takes no responsibility for the content or opinions posted here.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Please keep these rules in mind as you use our message boards. Thanks for participating.
